Station 4: Look!
The Lord says:
“To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life”
(Revelation 21,6).
An important source of life for Ansgar throughout the course of his life is the memory of the vision he is said to have had at the age of about 20 in the monastery of Corbie: A voice told him "Go! And with the crown of martyrdom you will return to me". Ansgar is also said to have been known to sing psalm prayers while mending nets, for example, and the collection of his own prayers ("Pigmenta" = "seasoning") is large.
